I just wanted to say she runs AWESOMELY!! Granted its only 3/10ths of a mile, there was NO hesitation NONE.



I have you all to thank for your help, patience, advice, and just answering any dumb questions this newb may have had along the way! I am sure there will be more, but I finished up the rear end tonight, went over everything else to make sure everything was tight...I let her warm up took her for a couple of passes--MAN. I will not be able to sleep tonight...I feel like a kid at Christmas

She still has the tuning tank hooked up and slung over the other side in this pic, but I am ready to cut the umbilical cord and fill that tank up with some gas so the rust particles can mess with my like new carbs!

give the tank a quick flush out - and use an inline filter if you have any doubts about the rust,

better to be safe than having to pull the carbs to clean a plugged jet full of crap.

Congratulations Rick! Nice looking bike. May want to put some small nuts,bolts and screws in the tank and shake it like a mariachi as you turn rotate it a time or 2. Put an inline filter on it, and ya you'll be good to go for at least this year. Also give ya time enough to think about if you want to line the tank or not too. But, I KNOW yer itching to keep that smile on your face, so at LEAST put an online filter on it. The REST can wait!!!
