I inheirited this beautiful silverwing from my father-in-law a few years ago. Has just 16K miles on it. I like jumping on this bike now and again when I know it would be a cold ride on my newer open bike. A year ago I noticed the front cover was leaking. I pulled that cover off and replaced the gasket. Kind of a pain because of fairing and radiator etc. But still did it in a day. I noticed the original gasket was installed barely sealing on one corner. Last night I rode it to work about 35 miles each way. I noticed a small puddle of oil under it. Checked the level and was still full so I rode it home. When I got home, it was dripping alittle, still almost full on dipstick. After investigating, I see it's oozing out of the very bottom center of rear engine cover, right between the two bolts. I checked the bolts and they were tight. Looks like a huge job to replace gasket. Has anyone had any luck with stopping this type of leak with some type of super sealant? If so, what kind did you use?
