Hey guys...

Not in a rush but, one of my next purchases is going to have to be tires.

I don't want to assume that what's on the bike now is correct, in case the previous owner's went a little wide/narrow... however, reading through threads and looking online, I'm seeing a variety of numbers and can't seem to confirm 100% what size tires are on a '79 CX500 Standard.

I "think" I need 100/90-19 for the front and 120/19-18 for the rears, but I've had a few people tell me other numbers as well.

I'm hoping that some '79 Standard owners who know for certain what they have, can chime in with an answer. So far most threads/posts I've read seem to be from owners of Custom/Deluxes that are guessing the size should be the same. They may be right, but again, I'm hoping someone with the same bike as mine can confirm.

the sizes you listed are correct for your bike and rim size

Darn... kinda hoped not because few tires I was looking at, all seem to be out of stock of either the front or rear.

Was eyeing up the Duro Excursions mainly... decent reviews and price, but discontinued.
