Thanks! I think I need to try and move my handlebar backets to the windshield back to get a little more rake.Lee,
The windshield came as a package with the chrome trim, mirrors, and headlight visor (not on yet).

I don't know if the lower brackets would allow it to move lower. I am thinking leaning it further back is my best way.Lee, it might be easier to cut the headlight opening a little larger than to cut it off the top.
My Kawasaki 750 needed some excersize. Not to worry, on the official ride I will be on my CX500C, got to keep it in the family .
Dave-notice in my post I made exception for your Kawasaki-nice older bike with a storyMy Kawasaki 750 needed some excersize. Not to worry, on the official ride I will be on my CX500C, got to keep it in the family .
I just did a total frame up restore on my 1983 CX650 Custom. Took me a year and a half (I work slow).Paul's GL, Joe's GL, my CX.
Charlie and Eric on Goldwings, Dave on his Suzuki(?).
If I get my GL650 setup in time, there might not be any CXs next time.

Okay! I have a 3 day weekend. I'll send you my cell in a PM. You ever go to Diamond's?Sorry I missed the mini-ride, all. I decided all the hullabaloo was too close for comfort so I headed out for a friend's lake place. If we end up doing another something... I'll be in.
Fafnir, if you want that GL650 service manual let me know and we can arrange a time for me to drop it off.
I'll see if I can get it off. Thanks!Looking at the weather corecast, I'm moving the Ride to August 1st.

MN Spring Ride XIII Redux
Will try to stop over about 5 for stories of gravel-hail- farmers dogs-etc. OK we'll see you then. No farmer's dogs last week, but there was a turkey. 😲 What is it with me and large birds?www.cx500forum.com
When I fixed the ignition, I had to take the shield and headlight off. I was able to give the windshield more rake and I can definitely see over it without raising up. Still puts the wind over my helmet.I don't know if the lower brackets would allow it to move lower. I am thinking leaning it further back is my best way.
I looked yesterday, and the forecast in March is all mid 30*F and 40*F. Give you hope! The north pole has moved down to Minnesota for a week or so now and is supposed to go back to where it belongs in another week, which makes me start thinking about spring and rides and such.
August 1st was last year. We're on #14, now. June 5, 2021.by the way Aug . 1st is Sunday.
