The windshield came as a package with the chrome trim, mirrors, and headlight visor (not on yet).

Thanks! I think I need to try and move my handlebar backets to the windshield back to get a little more rake.

Lee, it might be easier to cut the headlight opening a little larger than to cut it off the top.

I don't know if the lower brackets would allow it to move lower. I am thinking leaning it further back is my best way.

I just did a total frame up restore on my 1983 CX650 Custom. Took me a year and a half (I work slow).
I hope to join the ride this season so I can add a CX to the ride.

Looking at the weather corecast, I'm moving the Ride to August 1st.

MN Spring Ride XIII Redux

Will try to stop over about 5 for stories of gravel-hail- farmers dogs-etc. OK we'll see you then. No farmer's dogs last week, but there was a turkey. 😲 What is it with me and large birds?

When I fixed the ignition, I had to take the shield and headlight off. I was able to give the windshield more rake and I can definitely see over it without raising up. Still puts the wind over my helmet.

Good choice to move it, riding with a heat index over 100F is not fun.
